New, cost-effective single station OptiMate desulphating charger for service workshops requiring an OptiMate with more power & performance & test information than the smaller OptiMates intended for private users.

The OptiMate PRO-S is also suitable for long term storage & desulphation of automotive & marine batteries of up to 100Ah.

• Select 1A /2A /4A constant current charge for optimal & rapid charging of all motorcycle & similar batteries.
• Within the first 10 minutes the circuit automatically identifies batteries with significant short-circuited cell damage, indicates the condition (red LED) & stops charging.
• The automatic desulphation mode (whose effectiveness has been proven over 12 years in our various other OptiMate models), recovers neglected or severely discharged batteries measuring at least 1V which are still in principle mechanically sound.
• The automatic self-discharge test (performed automatically after the circuit has verified that the battery has been as well charged as possible), provides 4 possible judgments so as to provide accurate information as to the state of health of standard filler cap, MF-AGM & MF-GEL starter batteries.
  • GREEN LED = the battery retained >12,6V, typical of an MF (AGM or GEL) battery in service-ready condition.
  • GREEN & YELLOW LEDs together = the battery retained between 12,4V & 12,6V, typical of an MF (AGM or GEL) battery in marginal condition, or if the battery has filler caps, in service-ready condition.
  • YELLOW LED = the battery retained 12,2V to 12,4V, typical of a worn MF battery (AGM or GEL) due for replacement, or for a battery with filler caps, in marginal health.
  • RED = the battery could not retain at least 12,2V – for any 12V battery, this is an indication that the battery should be replaced.
• Except in the case of a red LED indication, the circuit automatically enters the maintenance mode to keep the battery at an optimal state of charge until disconnected.
