June 2008 - 2 stunning new OptiMates


TecMate have commenced deliveries of 2 new models of the famous OptiMate™ diagnostic desulfating battery maintenance charger-tester. These replace the OptiMate IIISP in Europe and most other countries with 220-240V supply. The new OptiMate 3+ and its more powerful and feature-enhanced stablemate, the OptiMate 4, feature brand new stylish weatherproof enclosures, and new electronics which enhance and expand on the already well-proven diagnostic and recovery capabilities of the previous models. The stunning visual design is enhanced by a new OptiMate logo style and smart new retail packaging revealing to best advantage the product within. The OptiMate 4 will be available from motorcycle specialist dealerships in most EU countries, while the OptiMate 3+ is also available with Honda brand and logo through Honda motorcycle and power equipment dealers.

Peugeot Motorcycles have joined the list of motorised two-wheeler manufacturers who recommend the OptiMate diagnostic battery charger & maintainer, bringing the total up to 9.

PIAGGIO Group recommends
BatteryMate 150-9.
Piaggio have posted a bulletin on their dealer log-in web site recommending purchase of a BatteryMate 150-9 in order to significantly reduce battery warranty costs & time spent on administration of claims. The Piaggio group includes the Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia, Derbi, Gilera, Moto Guzzi & APE brands. Piaggio is the 8th major motorcycle constructor to recommend the unique BatteryMate.
