There is no output from the charger

Good morning.
I put my new motorbike battery on charge and the charger worked perfectly, the green ok light came on after 12 hours without the red warning triangle coming on. It appears that the newish (less than 1 year) ride on mower battery is duff as well as the other battery I tried.
Thankyou
I always have faith in your equipment.

Hi Michael... good news, today in the morning I received a new battery from seller, a YUASA YTX14BS, I activated and charged with optimate4, and after about 5-6 hours, it finished with ... a led 5 GREEN solid led ¡¡¡ (previous battery get 5 green and 8 amber, failled cell)
Conclusion: previous new yuasa battery was defective (and new battery sounds a bit to bubbling when activate, but a lot less than other)
Thanks for support, I´m happy with my new optimate4 (only two weeks old), because it detected a defective battery that other "constant current" charger didn´t detect, and maybe that battery would last not much.
Have a nice day
Pablo

"About 6 months ago we as reps were offered to buy a sample of the OptiMate 4 battery charger. I did not have a trickle charger at home and do I bought it and put it out in the garage and promptly forgot about it.
Well fast forward to about two weeks ago and I was out there cleaning and organizing (long over due) I come across the OptiMate again and I thought I am going to see it that thing works. So I went and found an old dead and frozen battery. (Dead batteries freeze solid in Minnesota)(This by the way makes them junk) I followed the instructions on the OptiMate and hooked it up and just as I thought the OptiMate told me it was junk.
I left it hooked up and once again forgot about it. Ten days later I was out in the garage again finishing the clean up stuff and I noticed that the lights on the OptiMate were now green. A quick check on the box told me that the green light meant the battery was GOOD!
Long story short here, I gave the battery to a friend of mine who needed one and told him I am not 100% sure that it will work but if it does it is yours to have. He uses it everyday day and it works great. That OptiMate 4 pulled what was a sure bet junk battery back and is getting more use out of it."
Hello TecMate Staff
April 19, 2010
I received my new OptiMate 6 in the mail just the other day and I immediately wanted to test it and see what it was capable of doing.
So I dug around my shop and found two 12V deep cycle batteries that had been sitting for over 2 ½ years. I did not have a voltage meter with me at the time, so I checked the two batteries with a piece of wire and a flashlight bulb to see if they had any juice in them. They were both totally dead, not even a blink out of the bulb.
So I followed the instructions in the booklet and put one of my batteries on the OptiMate 6 and left it on over night. The next morning when I arrived to the shop, I went to the work bench to check on the battery, and the GREEN light was on. So I disconnected the charger and got my meter and it was reading 13.2 V. WOW was I surprised. So I then took the OptiMate 6 and put it on the other battery and again let it run. Later on that afternoon my battery was as good as new.
I have used many types of battery chargers and I have to say that this is the very best charger on the market today.
Thank you TecMate! You have just saved me a bunch of money on battery replacements.

Hello TecMate
April 11, 2007
I bought an optiMate charger from Riverside in Somerville, MA where I bought a used Honda Superhawk. The brief story is that I rode my beloved bike to work most of this warm, past winter (2.0 miles) except for two weeks in both
January and February. I spent money on an OptiMate instead of a new battery because Al at Riverside told me it would work and he was right [for once].
Last fall after the alternator/rectifier on the bike died and I thought the 2year old battery was a goner. It's spring and I know this battery will last through the summer now. The carbuerated twin took a lot to turn over with 10W40 oil and the short commute was not enough to charge the battery.
OptiMate completely enabled my global warming commute odyssey.

Dear Mr Demonty
When I was home on vacation during June-July from Saudia Arabia, I went to use my five year old OptiMate which had never previously been used and found it defective.
It was sent to your company and department for asseement and you promptly repaired and returned it to me free of charge.
Thank you so very much for your excellent service and product support which I have not found with other reputable companies.
I really appreciate the work that had been carried out and I will recommend your company and products to all my friends.
Once again thanks for your support and kindness.
Yours sincerely

OptiMate 3 Battery Charger
Worked as promised - Charges relatively quickly and restored batteries that would not take a charge from my other chargers. I wish the adapter was the type of connection used on other battery chargers and many heated accessories (like my Eclipse Vest). I made my own intermediate adapter and all is fine.
The OptiMate 3 (in the new red hang packaging) now includes this adapter free of charge !

Restored a dead motorcycle battery
My battery was totally dead after sitting for 3 months while I was away on business (the clock drained it), but 24 hours on the OptiMate kicked it back into life. That was 4 years ago and the battery is still going strong.

OptiMate Battery Charger
I have seven motorcycles and ALL of them are on OptiMate battery chargers. I trust my batteries to no other. In fact, my battery powered back-up sump pump is also maintained by an OptiMate charger. Great product that just has no rival.

OptiMate 3 Battery charger
Works great and you do not have to worry about overcharge. The best feature is the quick connect wire so that you do not have to remove the seat to charge. Great bang for the buck.

OptiMate lll Battery Charger
The OptiMate 3 provides a stronger charge than most trickle chargers I have used. It is convenient to use any time as it simply gets plugged in. No reason to remove the seat once installation is complete.

Motorcycle owner
I have a few different chargers and I had been using them on a small motorcycle battery that I would let charge for 2+ days at a time, it would not hold enough of a charge to crank over the motor even a day after I disconnected the charger. then I received the OptiMate 3 and I let it charge the same battery for 1 1/2 days (in the cold of November) and I was shocked when I tried to start the scoot as usual and instead it cranked right over with force, instead of the usual uhh, uhh, trat, trat.
