‘RPM’ mode : for adjustment of engine speed of 2 or 4 stroke engines during synchronizing.

‘AVE’ mode : with 3 overlapping scales from 5 to 55 cmHg & fixed resolution of 0,5 cmHg for general synchronizing.

‘DYN’ mode : for troubleshooting this allows for immediate visual check why engine cannot synchronize, possibly causes could be a non sealing valve or a cracked manifold.

WS and ME model

This easy to use ME (marine TS–80) model includes internal rechargeable 1,5Ah NiMH batteries that provide 6 hours autonomy.
Recharge the battery with any 12VDC source, such as a vehicle battery or 12VDC adapter while synchronizing.
The WS (workshop TS-70) model is powered by any 12V battery or 12V 1A DC adapter.

Solid State Electronic Design

SynchroMate displays the difference in vacuum intake settings of two linked carburetors to a resolution of 0,5cmHg on a single transverse "East-West" 30 LED display.
Visual estimation errors are eliminated as two pressures are compared and one value is displayed.

Offers accurate solid state electronic measurement at a cost no more than a good set of dial gauges, but without the problem of vibrating dial pointers or barometric pressure influences.

A rubber holster provides protection against mechanical shocks and knocks.

Periodic calibration is very simple: without any tubes connected, adjust the single screw until the centre LED flashes.

Standard features

A built in tachometer displays engine speed in RPM and absolute ‘vacuum’ pressure at the flick of a switch.
A single carburetor’s absolute pressure can be verified, displayed on a 0 – 60cmHg scale.
A flashing LED at the dead-centre "Pa" mark indicates that the compared manifold vacuums are equal to within 0,5 cmHg (centimetres of mercury).
The flashing LED allows for quick verification from a distance that the carburetors are synchronized.
Power is provided from the vehicle battery or an external 12V battery via a 6 ½ ft (2m) power cable with large crocodile clips.
The standard kit includes 2 x M5 and 2 x M6 threaded adapters, a T piece and 12VDC powercord.
A specially designed nylon carry case for storing the SynchroMate and kit is available as an option.
Further options include permanent manifold connection kits for anytime quick & easy synchronizing without the bother of fitting and removing temporary adapters.

CarbMate displays the difference in vacuum intake settings of two linked carburetors to an adjustable resolution of 0,5cmHg to 2cmHg on a single transverse "East-West" 9 LED display.
The compact design and solid state electronics make the CarbMate very durable & resistant against nasty shocks & knocks

Visual estimation errors, common to the traditional approach which is to visually compare the individual values on separate columns of mercury or dial gauges, are eliminated, as two pressures are compared and one value is displayed.

A ZERO adjustment knob provides easy & quick pre-calibration prior to synchronizing. Without any tubes connected, adjust the knob until the centre LED is on.

During calibration resolution can be adjusted from 2cmHg (centimetres of mercury) down to 0,5cmHg to allow the user to fine tune. Most vehicle O.E.s specify a resolution of 0,5cmHg for accurate synchronizing and CarbMate is the only low cost alternative able to meet the standard.

Simple, but clear user instructions are printed on the CarbMate, and these are supplemented by an additional information leaflet.
